Retreat 2008	Mothers' Union Scottish Provincial Retreat March 2008 Our annual silent retreat is held at St. Mary's Monastery, Kinnoull beside Perth where we spend a couple of nights and enjoy the scenery. In March 2008 the Retreat leader was Right Richard Inwood, Mothers' Union Central Chaplin. The picture shows all members from Scotland who attended. www.kinnoullmonastery.org

Emergency Prayer Chain (EPC)

Each branch has an appointed contact person for EPC. Prayer concerns are relayed initially by a co-ordinator, then phoned or Emailed down the chain by contacting 3 people, who in turn, pass the message on to one other branch. The branches choose their own way of praying for those concerns, either at branch meetings, prayer groups or through a particular member.

Holding a New Born Baby

I held a new born baby today, Lord.

As she was placed into my arms the years

rolled back for me - this little replica of my own daughter.

Thank you Lord for helping my daughter

through her labour, and for giving us both this

perfect miracle of life to love and cherish.

They have a sentence a day to pray for.
